The Product Specialist has been contracted by Intelligent Design to sell websites for you. Just as it is your responsibility to schedule a firm, qualified appointment with a business owner, it their first priority to sell the website. Selling the website at the price you desire is secondary.

When you use the Product Specialist, it should be with the intention of learning how to sell the websites from trained, qualified sales people known as the Product Specialist. They are familiar with the website market, as well the features, benefits, and value of the sites created using our system. Your goal should be to learn what to say, how to respond to customer's objections, how to walk through a website presentation, and how to tactfully lead the customer through the sales process and ask for payment at the end of the call.

Although you are certainly able to continue to use this service, you should expand your sales and appointment hours beyond the times the Product Specialist is available by applying what you have learned and transitioning to make closing calls on your own.

Using the Product Specialist assumes that you agree to a more rigid schedule, and potentially lower selling prices. Although you may want them to sell the site at $2499 during a given call, using the Product Specialist authorizes them to make the sale at $999 without conferring with you. They will sell the site a the price you have requested, but not at the expense of losing the sale. Expect you sales call to close at average prices between $999 and $1299.

If you are still not comfortable conducting walkthroughs and closing calls after several sales support calls, you may continue to use the service but understand the trade-off in price, convenience, and control between using the service and closing the sale yourself. Finally, remember that if you choose to sell the websites on your own, and you want to set a price which differs from the price suggested by Intelligent Design, you must call us to reset the price for you prior to the sale.
